PREACH
I am in absolute awe of this kid.
My new favorite person.
I saw an interview with him last night. Turns out the kid is a dropout who returned back with a fervor to apply himself and complete high school.
For those that said he shouldn’t have used the word “bitching”…he used the word in rebuttal to the teacher having used the same word to disparage what he was doing before the rant was recorded. The students also corroborated that story.
I’m very proud of this young man. Our school system is broken because of terrible teachers like this that are just passing along information to earn a paycheck instead of actually engaging their students. We can, of course, thank the Teachers Unions, the worthless Department of Education, and failed standardized applications and testing for its decline. We’ve known the system has been broken for a long time, but now the students are becoming aware.
How to improve education in “my state”.
Step 1 — School attendance is non-compulsory.
Step ? — Government removes itself from the education industry.
He’s said just about everything I wanted to say to some of my teachers in high school.
They only make a few movies about students who want to learn and fight for their education. Walkout (2006) being my favorite.
